Accord Housing Association appoints new Deputy Chief Executive

Alan Yates has been appointed Deputy Chief Executive at Accord. Previously the Executive Commercial Director at the Midlands based housing association, Alan takes on the role of Deputy Chief Executive with immediate effect.

Dr Chris Handy, Chief Executive at Accord, said: “I am delighted to announce Alan’s promotion to Deputy Chief Executive. This new appointment is part of Accord’s ambitious growth plans for the future.

“Accord already has a range of highly successful strategic partnerships, and as part of our continued growth strategy we are looking to increase these over the coming months and years. Building on this success, the creation of this new role will assist us in meeting our strategic objectives.”

Accord currently has over 13,000 homes, providing services and support to more than 80,000 people. Newly appointed Deputy Chief Executive, Alan Yates, said: “I am really excited to take on this new role at Accord, and I am looking forward to continuing to deliver our strategic growth strategy.

“We are fully committed to further investment and development, building on the success of our New Ways of Working status with Homes England and the growth of our offsite manufacturing business, Local Homes.
