Latest update to our domiciliary care customers Accord / Direct Health

As a responsible care and support provider and employer, Direct Health (which is the care at home department of Accord Housing Association) has been following the advice and guidance produced by Public Health England, the government body responsible for advising on appropriate actions to take to address COVID-19 (coronavirus) in the UK.

We understand that you may have some concerns about relatives and friends coming to visit you during this time, and visits should be avoided by anyone who is feeling unwell to avoid unnecessary risk.

It is also important that you or somebody on your behalf lets us know if you are experiencing symptoms of the virus, or if you have had contact with someone with a confirmed coronavirus diagnosis.

Over the next few days, we will be contacting you or your representative to discuss our emergency planning procedures.
