During the lockdown period our emergency and urgent repairs teams of plumbers, electricians and carpenters completed over 1,000 emergency repairs.
Our teams are now busy working through all the repairs. If you have reported a repair to us you do not need to call us again about the same repair. We will contact you to schedule the repair as soon as we can.
We have recently restarted routine maintenance and repair works so please bear with us as we work through your repair requests. Thank you for your support.
Entering your property
Where it is safe to do so, we are now able to start routine maintenance and repair works.
We have put new processes in place to help protect you, members of your household and our staff from the risk of the Coronavirus. We would really appreciate your support with these new processes.
If a Housing Officer or repairs operative needs to enter your home, if it is not possible for them to wash their hands, they will use hand sanitiser when they arrive and leave the property.
Could you please ensure you maintain the 2 metre distance from staff and operatives at all times. We also ask that, wherever possible, you leave the relevant doors open, so the operatives can access repairs without having to touch doors, door handles etc.
We hope that you will support us in these new procedures and help us to ensure the safest environment for both you and our staff. The safety of our staff and customers continues to be our highest priority.
