Accord’s repairs and maintenance service is now delivered by our very own in-house team - Accord Works.
The team consists of our existing internal teams, plus a number of new colleagues. There will also be on-going job opportunities with us.

Accord Works for you

By having our own in-house, directly-employed colleagues delivering repairs and maintenance,  we know we can provide a more focussed service to you, our customers. Furthermore, as part of our locality working roll-out, Accord Works will be able to respond more quickly when housing officers and Care & Support teams need something to be tackled and we want to provide a better, more efficient service with higher satisfaction for customers. 

Accord Works will deliver a local, personalised service to customers, across a range of works including routine and emergency repairs, as well as external and communal repairs.                                                               

Welcome to Accord Works - we will ensure that service delivery and quality of works is at the forefront of all we do.

Accord Works eggs-cellent effort...!

Since their launch at the end of 2017, the Accord Works team have kept a steady service through two separate periods of some of the worst weather we have seen in recent years, won Team of the Year at the Great People Awards and now continue to show their caring side with a truly eggs-cellent (we know, we know) gesture by collecting over 200 Easter eggs to donate to Accord schemes.

Tracy Pukalak, Scheduling Team Lead for Accord Works, explains:
“At Accord Works, we thought it would be great to give something back and what better way that ensuring families at some of our schemes could enjoy some Easter treats!

Everyone at Accord Works from our Apprentices, to operatives and management has donated Easter eggs…and we cannot wait to go out and deliver them to the schemes in time for Easter!”

What a great gesture, Accord Works team….well done to you all!

Compliment Corner

2 March 2018: Our Customer First Call centre received this very nice email from a stranded passenger -

"I just wanted to make you aware of an act of kindness and selflessness displayed by one of your employees this evening.

I got stuck in the snow on my way home on the Dudley Bypass not far from Cousins. I am in the car by myself and have no-one to call for assistance. Many motorists struggled past me without even a glance but your employee 'TJ' stopped in his van and helped me relentlessly for a good half an hour until I could get back on the move again. He would not accept anything from me for his help. It's good to know that there are still some good people out there. You should be very proud one of them works for you."

21 March 2018: A satisfied customer from Birchwood called to compliment all 3 of the gardeners who cleared the rear garden. She said they did an amazing job and wants this message passed to them. Well done, Justin, Dean and Joe!

Working together

Over the coming months you will notice that Accord Works will make a really positive impact - more responsive, more local and with new technologies.
