“Tailored support in finding independence.”

Moseley and District’s young parent and baby scheme provides young, single parents with a home and tailored support for up to two years.

The scheme enables parents to gain the life skills they will need so that they can successfully move on to live independently, both practically, such as money management, and personally, such as developing confidence.

Support workers also link young single parents to other support services they may find useful, helping to reduce feelings of isolation and increasing the person’s chances of maintaining a stable future.

Young parents play a key part in making decisions about their service and this is reflected in every aspect of service delivery. We regularly consult with our residents to make sure that our services meet their individual needs.

Support provision

Floating support for young, single parents for up to two years.

Getting a placement

All referrals can be made directly to Moseley and District.
