  • CART02 - Waking Night Care & Support Worker (CART02) Location: Telford Key Responsibilities To work as a member of a night care team offering care and support to vulnerable and frail older people, whilst utilising the ordinary life principles in a caring environment, maintaining the privacy and dignity of the residents and promoting choice and decision making.

  • EO1 - Executive Officer Location: West Bromwich To provide high-level, efficient and effective administrative and secretarial support to the Group Chief Executive to include: Electronic Diary Management - Microsoft Outlook Preparation of meeting papers and taking minutes Organising travel Meeting and greeting guests Booking external and internal meeting venues Ordering stationery Working with, and covering for the Executive Assistant to provide high-level, efficient and effective administrative and secretarial support to the Director of Regeneration to include: Electronic Diary Management - Microsoft Outlook Preparation of meeting papers and taking minutes Organising travel Meeting and greeting guests Booking external and internal meeting venues Ordering stationery To undertake research on specific tasks. To undertake project work. To progress and action chase on behalf of Group Chief Executive. To contribute to the work of the Communications Team for example with event coordination To work with the Business Support Manager on a range of initiatives including the Group’s Business Support offer To create, develop and manage professional external relationships.   • HOB2 - Waking Night Care & Support Worker (HOB2) Location: Walsall Key Responsibilities Work as part of a team to enable service users to exercise choice and develop/maintain independence within this setting. Work flexibly providing one to one care and support to service users in all aspects of their daily living, enabling them to learn to do things for themselves, by providing care and support and encouragement. When needed directly undertake tasks on service user’s behalf. To meet the care and support needs of tenants as directed by the person in charge and to assist with the general running of the scheme. Work within Accords philosophy of care and support, demonstrating understanding and commitment to the rights of people within this client group Act as a key worker.

  • FAL20 - Night Concierge (FAL20) Location: Darlaston Key Responsibilities Main duties include- Maintaining and ensuring the safety and security of Falcon House and the residents. Ensuring that fire audits are maintained in line with Accord policy Ensuring that client records are kept up to date. Ensuring that the high hygiene standards are maintained. Ensuring that Empty rooms are cleaned and made ready for new clients. Work within Accords philosophy of care and support, demonstrating understanding and commitment to the rights of people within this client group.

  • SIL52 - Deputy Manager (SIL52) Location: Solihull Key Responsibilities To provide business support functions to the Scheme Manager within a residential care service by providing effective leadership and deployment of resources; managing the administrative services, the devising of relevant systems to meet the needs of the residential service and oversee the hospitality and environmental side of the business. In conjunction with the Scheme Manager ensure systems are in place so that the analysis of data takes place to ensure that the services maximise cost efficiencies where possible and maintain acceptable scheme costs

  • SIL51 - Senior Care Assistant (SIL51) Location: Solihull Key Responsibilities Work as part of a team and support the Registered Manager to deliver care and support services that promotes choice and independence, which actively engaging service users in making decisions about their life. Support the Registered Manager to supervise and manage the team to deliver quality service outcomes for service users, including acting as a key worker, developing and managing care plans and working with service users on a day to day basis

  • GR8 - Mobile Gardener (GR8) Location: Coventry OVERALL AIM To work as part of the Greenscape gardening services team, delivering a high-quality, professional service, responsive to customers’ needs. To ensure compliance with relevant Health and Safety policies and procedures. To assist in the maintenance of equipment and machinery.

  • MILL32 - Home Care Assistants (MILL32) Location: Newcastle Under Lyme MAIN TASKS To work within the philosophies of Extra Care Housing, adhering to Accord’s policies and procedures at all times. To support service users in all aspects of daily living including delivering personal care, meal preparation, dressing etc.), promoting their independence and decision making to the maximum potential. To provide care and support as identified in individual care plans and acting as key worker to allocated tenants. To initiate and encourage participation in social activities within the scheme and in the local community. To ensure that service users well-being is monitored and any concerns are raised with the appropriate persons in a timely manner, with appropriate follow up actions being taken. To be aware of health and safety issues for service users, self and others, paying prompt attention to all safety requirements with particular regard to fire precautions, fire drills and hazards reporting any concerns to appropriate persons. To maintain confidentiality of all records and information relating to service users/staff in accordance with Accord’s Confidentiality Policy. To communicate effectively with other team members, and carry out duties in a team spirited capacity. To participate in training appropriate to the post, attending staff meetings, supervision and appraisals as required. Any other tasks or duties as reasonably required in connection with the post.

  • BHO02 - Personal Assistant (BHO02) Location: Telford Key Responsibilities Work as part of a team and support the Senior Personal Assistants/Team Leader to deliver Care and Support service outcomes, supporting the development and management of care and support plans, actively engaging with service users to promote independence and choice, supporting service users in making decisions about their life. Work within Accords philosophy of care, demonstrating understanding and commitment to the rights of people within these client groups. Work flexibly providing care and support to service users in aspects of their daily living, enabling them to do things for themselves where they are able. When needed support service users to undertake tasks in accordance with their identified care or support needs. Act as the Extra Care scheme champion in a nominated area of responsibility.

  • TIP10 - Senior Personal Assistant (TIP10) Location: Tipton Key Responsibilities Work as part of a team to enable service users to exercise choice and develop/maintain independence within their own home or service. Work within Accords philosophy of care, demonstrating understanding and commitment to the rights of people within these client groups. Work flexibly providing care and support to service users in aspects of their daily living, enabling them to do things for themselves where they are able. When needed support service users to undertake tasks in accordance with their identified care or support needs. Act as the Extra Care scheme champion in a nominated area of responsibility.

  • MILL31 - Bank Housekeeper (MILL31) Location: Newcastle Under Lyme MAIN TASKS To work within the philosophies of the project, adhering to Accord’s policies and procedures at all times. To interact and communicate with tenants. To clean, dust, polish, vacuum, carpet wash, empty bins and sanitise all areas of the project, except kitchen, in order to maintain a high level of hygiene and cleanliness in all areas of the project. To assist in maintaining stock control and ordering systems. To follow daily cleaning routines, short and long term cleaning programmes and spot cleaning policy’s as required by the scheme Manager. To work in a manner that demonstrates an understanding and commitment to the needs and rights of tenants who are vulnerable and may be physically and/or mentally frail. To follow all Health and Safety at Work act. Undertake C.O.S.H.H. risk assessments on any existing or new product used in the job role. Paying particular regard to fire precautions and fire drills and hazards. To follow all safety requirements imposed by the Association or statutory requirements. To follow the procedures and policies for the safe use, storage and disposal of all cleaning materials. To take part in supervisions and annual appraisal. Any other tasks or duties as reasonably required in conjunction with this post.

  • BEN5 - Bank Housekeeper Location: Telford Bank Housekeeper Extra Care Services To support older adults with physical disabilities, long term health conditions, dementia and mental health conditions to continue to lead active, independent and fulfilled lives in line with the scheme objectives

  • GSTS1 - Greenscape Tree Surgeon Location: Wednesbury The ideal candidate will need to have a qualification to climb and must also drive. The successful candidate will work on a casual basis and normally at weekends. This may also be a long term opportunity.

  • HAR21 - Social Care Worker Location: Birmingham Social Care Worker, based in Harborne, Birmingham, B17 0AN. 30 hours per week working shifts between 7am and 10pm including alternate weekends.
