Young peopleHope Street and Broadway North provides supported housing and homes with a round-the-clock support service to vulnerable young homeless people aged 16 to 25 years, with space for up to 21 residents at any one time.

The scheme supports some of the most vulnerable young people in Walsall, where support is tailored to each person in line with their individual needs. Staff work closely with partner agencies to provide a fully comprehensive service, aimed at giving young people the best chance of developing life skills and enhancing their chance for a positive, secure future.

Access to employment, training and education is an integral part of the support development.

Situated in the Caldmore area and close to Walsall Arboretum, the accommodation is highly secure and convenient for the town centre and all local facilities that will help residents progress their life skills and confidence.

  • 21 individual furnished bedsits and one-bedroom apartments.

Operating hours

Residential, with staff on site 24-hours a day.

Care provision

Residential accommodation and move-on support for 21 young homeless people aged 16 to 25.

Getting a placement

Residents must be able to show that they are in housing need and require support to assist them in their development towards independence. Referrals from agencies working within Walsall and self referrals will be considered.
