Floating support services

“Bringing support services into the home and community.”

Mother and babyThe Accord Group members provide a range of floating support to those living in their own homes with a huge variety of needs. All support is aimed at helping service users maintain independence and be active, confident members of their communities.

Working with people of all communities and cultures, we support those in housing and health crises, from those with learning disabilities to the less mobile older people. Our floating support extends to all members of the community, including children, young people and men. Community based-services include a magazine for black and minority ethnic men exploring mental health issues and a support group for carers vulnerable to isolation and depression.

Individual support plans help people to improve their mental and physical well-being. These services are key to enabling people to live independently in their own homes and communities.
