Dementia care

Around 800,000 people across the UK live with Dementia, 67,270 of whom live within the West Midlands.

Dementia can have a significant impact upon the lives of people with dementia and those around them. This is why at the Accord Group, we are committed to providing a wide range of services that support people with the condition.

The Accord Group provides a number of services specifically aimed at supporting people with dementia, including:

• Day opportunities
• Support services
• Residential care
• Dementia cafés.

Accord’s dementia care services provide help and support for individuals with dementia as well as their families and carers.

Accord has a dedicated dementia care manager who works across Accord’s services to provide specialist support and advice for those who need it. The dementia care manager provides a range of services including:

• Dementia training
• Family and carer support
• Signposting and information services.
